"Spinning" in the New Year

Image
I am one of those people who still loves sending snail mail. I'd have to be far more organized to do a better job of it--but I still like to try. This means I have to keep my loved ones addresses up-to-date and in a place I can find them. So, I'm kicking off the new year by getting all of my addresses onto a 7Gypsies ATC Spinner. Maybe it will help me do a better job of keeping in touch in 2014! The postal service will thank me for it. On New Year's Eve, I had fun designing a few new cards for the spinner: These little cards are so fun and easy to make. And now, I'll have fun matching them up with my family and friends and adding their mailing info to the back!

A Proper Holiday Thank You

Doesn't it figure that I finally have time after Christmas to sit down and make a few cards? I didn't send any this year, and it makes me a little sad. I really do love sending and receiving holiday cards. It was satisfying, though, to dig out my supplies and put a few together. Obviously there are several that will have to wait for next year but I can use some of these for thank you cards right away! I love pink holiday cards--especially with polka dots. How adorable is this little vintage scene? I'm sure "Miss Hall"is hoping for a snow day, too.   Hope you had many good wonderful cards in your mailbox from those you love. Let's all try to send more snail mail this year. Happy 2014!
