NYC Day Five
NYC is a fabulous place to celebrate a birthday! We headed to the Highline in the morning. First stop: The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards . Shopped at Uniqlo, Muji, and enjoyed the artwork and views of the Vessel. It was a beautiful day to walk the Highline. Lots of tourists and sunshine! We left the path at Chelsea Market, found a sample sale where Ashley bought an amazing dress for the Ballet Idaho fall gala, and I bought brownies from Fat Witch Bakery. Cheers and happy birthday to me--wrinkles and all! Our much anticipated birthday dessert was purchased at Milk Bar across the street. I had a slice of birthday cake and Ashley had a slice of Milk Bar pie (formerly known as Crack Pie). The frosting was everything.
