I am one of those people who still loves sending snail mail. I'd have to be far more organized to do a better job of it--but I still like to try. This means I have to keep my loved ones addresses up-to-date and in a place I can find them. So, I'm kicking off the new year by getting all of my addresses onto a 7Gypsies ATC Spinner. Maybe it will help me do a better job of keeping in touch in 2014! The postal service will thank me for it. On New Year's Eve, I had fun designing a few new cards for the spinner: These little cards are so fun and easy to make. And now, I'll have fun matching them up with my family and friends and adding their mailing info to the back!

Even though I love the clean look of white walls, I'm not afraid of pretty-colored paint! I'm bringing a little bit of that fun into my cardmaking today with a series of cards that incorporate Martha Stewart paint chips. Rainy days in the Pacific Northwest are a blessing for more than one reason. To me, it means another excuse to stay inside and craft. Thanks to the wet weather, I can easily make any excuses for staying inside where it's warm and dry. It is such a treat to spend hours and hours making cards and sorting through my art supplies! Here are a few of my recent creations... Hello, Seattle! Put on a happy face! These colors are so sweet. I bought this typewriter stamp set before Seattle's "Monkey Love" closed their shop. Finally! I used it. I also love that it comes with a stamp that says, "You're old school and you're cool." Yes, indeedy. My sister just did a "banner" blog post on her "Ribbon, Glitter & Glue" blog .
