NYC Day Four

Day four started with banana pudding at Magnolia Bakery. We were so afraid it wouldn't be as good as the hype--but it was absolutely delicious.
It's so fun to explore the shops and passageways of 30 Rock, and the merch at the NBC Store is extremely entertaining.

She's the real boss.

We are so happy that there is an FAO Schwarz in this world again! Also, unicorns are real.
We missed the chance to go to the Top of the Rock on our last trip. It was a beautiful (hot) day to do it this time around and we weren't going to miss it! Loved the view.

Wowza. The Swarovski crystals at the top were absolutely stunning. I could not take a photo to do it justice but we sure did love that sparkle.
Need anything? Get it at The Vend--an entire room filled with vending machine goodies.

Afternoon tea at Tiffany's at the Blue Box Cafe was delightful. Gotta love that Tiffany blue!

From Tiffany's we headed over to our favorite place to buy candy: Dylan's Candy Bar. We each bought a bag of candy and then hopped on the Uptown Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour. Perfect combination.
Of course Jerry Seinfeld's favorite candy is Bit-O-Honey.

We covered so much territory on this trip and--as usual--tried to see and do it all!

After another wonderful day in the city we headed back to Brooklyn, picked up takeout from Hanoi Vietnamese Kitchen, and enjoyed a performance by Alvin Ailey II under the stars (and thunderclouds) performing for the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn Festival at the Brooklyn Bandshell in Prospect Park.
